NSS Day Celebrated with Cleanliness Drive

On the occasion of National Service Scheme (NSS) Foundation Day, a cleanliness camp was organized by KDS College in Kuchera. The event was part of the nationwide celebration of NSS Day, which commemorates the launch of this student-focused community service program.
College administrator Vikash Sisodia informed that during the camp, Indian Navy officer Banwari Gaud was the chief guest. He administered the cleanliness campaign oath to students and teachers. Following the oath-taking ceremony, the students actively participated in cleaning the city's government sports ground.
The cleanliness drive was not just about physical cleaning but also aimed at creating awareness about the importance of cleanliness in public spaces. Students learned about the value of community service and their role in maintaining clean surroundings.
The NSS unit of KDS College has been regularly organizing such community service activities, aligning with the NSS motto of "Not Me, But You," which reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service.
The college plans to continue such initiatives throughout the year, encouraging students to participate in various community service activities that contribute to social welfare and environmental conservation.
