The 37th Inter-College Women's Hockey Tournament of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University was inaugurated at Kamla Devi Sisodia College of Science and Technology in Kuchera. The inauguration ceremony was held at Kumhara Kuna near Balaji Temple in the new campus of the college.

The event was organized under the guidance of Yogi Pawan Nath Maharaj. Kuchera Municipality Chairman Tejpal Mishra, MDSU Sports Board Secretary Dr. Shivvijay Singh Chohan, District Sports Officer Mohanlal Godara, Paladi Jodhiya Sarpanch Jagdish Khoja, Hokra Wala Sarpanch Omprakash Bhadu, Harlal Dukiya (former president of Hockey Sports Association), and Ajay Kumar Joshi were present at the inauguration.

Municipal Chairman Mishra emphasized that one should play with the spirit of sportsmanship rather than focusing on winning or losing. Before this, at 10 AM, the guests cut the ribbon and played a hockey scoop to officially inaugurate the tournament.

In the opening match, Kamla Devi Sisodia College of Science and Technology defeated Lord Tirupati College, Kakdi with a score of 3-2, making a victorious start to the tournament.
