
Education with Sports Essential for Success, Says Municipal Chairman

During the inauguration of the 37th Inter-College Women's Hockey Tournament at Kuchera, Municipal Chairman Tejpal Mishra stated that in today's era, success requires education along with sports and general knowledge in every field. He emphasized that one should play with the spirit of sportsmanship rather than focusing on winning or losing.
MDSU Sports Board Secretary Dr. Shivvijay Singh Chohan announced the official inauguration of the tournament. He added that sports should be played with sportsmanship. Nagaur District Sports Officer Mohanlal Godara spoke about promoting hockey at higher levels and encouraging women's hockey.
The guests performed Saraswati Puja, lit the torch, and cut the ribbon to inaugurate the competition. The opening match was played between Lord Tirupati College, Kakdi and the host KDS College, Kuchera, with KDS College winning 3-2.
Vikash Sisodia mentioned that the chief guests Devendra Singh Shekhawat, Commissioner Chaudhary, MDSU University Ajmer nominee Nandkumar Sharma, Balraj Singh Chohan, Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat, national hockey player Savita Bishnoi were welcomed by the college administration. The organizing committee member Arhit Sisodia and staff thanked them for their presence.
