The first convention of Rajasthan State Bharat Scout and Guide's Nagaur District Council was held on Wednesday morning at Jain Dadabadi in Kuchera. The event was attended by Chief District Education Officer Nagaur Munshikhan, Commissioner of Rajasthan State Bharat Scout and Guide Shakarlal Sharma from headquarters, Commissioner Sattar Khan Kayamkhani, Manoj Soni, Pramila Yadav, Deepika, Sanjay Kumawat, Hemlata Saini, Nagaur CO Ashfaq Panwar, Guide CO Minakshi Bhati, Mundwa Secretary Gajendra Gopala, Private School Organization's Mundwa Block President Ramprakash Karwa, Dugaram Marka, Vikash Sisodia, and other Scout and Guide officers, council officials and members, local association secretaries, joint secretaries, principals, and representatives.

CO Scout Nagaur Ashfaq Panwar presented the annual report for 2022-23 and got it approved in the first annual convention of the district. He also presented the proposed program for the upcoming year 2023-24, which was presented by CO Guide Minakshi Bhati.

While presiding over the program, Chief District Education Officer and Chief District Commissioner Munshi Khan said that in the present time, it is very important to connect the boys and girls studying in schools with co-curricular activities and make them responsible citizens of society and the nation. By joining Scout Guide, children develop confidence and become self-reliant and self-confident, gaining practical knowledge along with their studies, which is useful for their future life. He directed that this practice should be conducted in all schools in the district, and it is the responsibility of the respective institution head to form a troop by appointing one teacher each as in-charge.

During the convention, an oath was taken to vote 100% and encourage the public to do the same under the SVEEP campaign being run by the Election Commission of India. The convention concluded with the national anthem.
